summer fun!

i love summer! everything about summer....i love it! no coats, no school, just flip flops, swimming, and nice warm mornings and evenings for pictures! these 3 thought it was really funny to watch me make noises and jump up and down to take their pictures yet again....you kind of half to laugh at what we bribe our kids with for them to cooperate for pictures. these 3 got QT slushes and candy! it works.....almost always.

spring is here! oh... so much fun! so many little people to photograph. i do love april and may. slowly, but surely- i hope to get all the sweet, happy faces to the blog. but, for today- here are a few that make me soooo happy! happy spring!

we are ready! go K-State! even though it is basketball and march madness... this little guy still wears his Chiefs football helmet to cheer on the Wildcats! go KSU! we are all purple here today! GO CATS!

several of you have asked "what should we wear for our upcoming session?" head to your closests first... see what you come up with. maybe you can pull some patterns and stripes together that look stunning. you may surprise yourself. or maybe just one or 2 pieces from somewhere will do the trick... if you have a toddler girl...you could head over to Target. their skirts and tops right now are ADORABLE!!!! layer it up this season. lots of fun! casual and relaxed is always BEST! babies, girls and boys head to...

teeny tiny bundle

this teeny tiny little pink bundle fell fast asleep on this cozy little bed...we wanted to leave her there and let her sleep the day away.... oh, how i wish we could have. she was so cozy all nestled in her blanket. we took lots of cute pictures and ooooed and ahhed over her. so glad there are these beautiful babies being born during this cold winter. (spring is coming! i just know it!) and cannot wait!

1 little monkey...

jumping on the bed!!! and wowee! she LOVED jumping on the big bed. she also loved hiding her face down in the covers. love the piggie tails and the monkey pj's!!! wish you could have seen her watching herself jump. she would jump and then look in the mirror at herself and hide. too funny! (and no one fell off the bed...) yah!!!! not even me....

brown eyes

one day before his big birthday.... he was just about to turn 3!!! and i could have just ate him up. ya know, we talked about big time stuff.... waffles, pizza, his dad's favorite color (pink), and all sorts of fun things. the entire time, he kept asking me "will you come play on my bed?" his mom and dad were laughing. he loves to play on his bed. soooooo what do ya do?... after we were done (really, look at that face!) why not? we jumped on his bed! too cute. good thing there are no pictures of that!

teeny tiny little one....sleeping snug as a bug. with piles of snow outside, mom and i cranked up the heat inside and it was nice and toasty. his little tiny features. ooooeee! i enjoyed watching all the sleeping faces he made. so peaceful and calm. love the babes a sleeping.....

hide-n-seek

we looked and looked. where did he go? i went and grabbed my camera. BOO! we found "Boogey" hiding under the kitchen table. look at his bed head! he makes all of us laugh... a lot! the kids have been calling him Porcupine because of his crazy hair. wonder if those lateral teeth will ever come in? we love our little Boogey!

baby boom

2010 is off to cold start here in kc... brrr... but we have lots of babies to keep us cozy and warm! first up is this little guy. he just wanted to sleep, sleep, sleep for his pictures. just perfect little baby B. i am looking forward to a fun year with this dark haired cutie!
