what's the trick? how do you make a baby have fun? peek-a-boo? yes. that usually works. some of you know (and have witnessed) me barking like a dog, making all kinds of noises... birds, cows, high-pitched la la's, squeels- it's true. i really will do pretty much anything to get a baby going. singing songs is usually a big hit. however- with this little cutie. one word. LOLA. his dog. that's all we needed. mom, you were right. i am so glad LOLA was there. not to mention i loved their 100+ year old home and all its amazing character. new people, new places, new fun- and a new trick. LOLA.

We had such a good time and the pictures look amazing! Thank you so much for putting this nervous mama at ease. By the way, our dog's name is actually Lola, although I'm sure we called her Lolo a lot b/c that's her nickname. Either way, you're right - Lola saved the day! :)
