mmmm...mmmmmm... good! it's tomato time! be watching for the newest issue of Tastebud Magazine the first week of august all over the KC metro. i am really enjoying photographing the cover of the magazine each month...this month my kids helped out. we scoured the city for the freshest, reddest (is that a word?), plumpest, and most perfect tomatoes...it was quite a field trip. after the tomato pictures were finished and the tomatoes made it home to our kitchen, i heard my oldest child telling the younger ones, "you have to be careful. those red tomatoes are breakable." ha. okay, so i admit- i was a little freakish carrying them home- not letting anyone 10 feet near the container before the tomatoes had their pictures taken.
