fish'n'kids

my kids are always asking if they can go with me on photo shoots...and this time they got to come along! in march, i went to cal-ann farms to take pictures of the meyer's family amazing basil. this time, we went to take photos of the fresh tilapia fish they raise at their farm as well. (not sure which was more fun to watch- the kids or the jumping fish)... once again, i was blown away at the intricate details and time, talent and workmanship of the people at cal-ann farms. we got to meet a white fish, named casper, see the hydroponics system and yummy red peppers, along with a few horses! what a morning! if you have been loving the fresh basil found at local grocery stores in the metro- watch for the tilapia fish to be coming soon...until then, you can get the cal-ann farms tilapia fish delivered fresh on friday and/or saturday afternoons to 888 Market, 9848 Santa Fe Drive, in Overland Park, KS.
